Returning to the Trace where I left it, I pass a sign proclaiming "Welcome to Mississippi, the Birthplace of America's Music". Tupelo may have something to do with this claim, as it is the birthplace of Elvis Aaron Presley, better known as "Elvis". Tupelo has more guitar art on display than Woodstock, which is pretty impressive. This 1939 Plymouth is the same model used by Elvis's father to move the family from Tupelo to Memphis in 1948.
