Denali National Park and Preserve totals 9,419 square miles (24,500 kmĀ²), larger than New Hampshire or Massachusetts. One road, mostly dirt, traverses the park. Aside from a few near the entrance, there are no hiking trails. I spend two nights camping at the entrance before I get a five day wilderness pass, and a bus ticket to my drop off point.
